They/Them
MA, LCMHC, LPC
I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Appalachian State University in 2019, where I also completed a certificate in Addictions Counseling.
My post-graduate training includes gender-affirming practices in therapy, ACT-based interventions for anxiety and OCD, and phases I and II of Brainspotting.
While doing additional continuing education focused on Autism and ADHD in adults, I thought “wow, this sounds really familiar,” which eventually lead to becoming a late-diagnosed AuDHDer. Being a neurodivergent-affirming practitioner is a cornerstone of my practice, and I have lived experience that helps me better support other neurodivergent folks.
Although I am fully licensed and no longer required to receive supervision, I still meet with a supervisor regularly and engage in consultation groups that help me better serve my clients.
I am licensed to practice counseling in Colorado (#LPC.0019424), Maine(CPC #CC8157), and North Carolina (LCMHC #15301).
